Privacy at Evolve

The public website
You can browse the Evolve homepage without signing in. Training photographs are illustrative concepts. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
Enquiries
When you submit an enquiry, Evolve stores your name, email, optional phone number and training-goal message in its owner dashboard, so Evolve can follow up. Do not include medical information. Enquiries expire from the inbox after 90 days. Expired records are deleted when the inbox is opened or another enquiry is submitted; physical deletion is not a continuously running timed service. The owner can delete an enquiry earlier.
To limit spam, the service temporarily stores request counters using hashes of email addresses and network addresses, together with a daily limit. These expire after two days and are cleared during enquiry processing. Hosting providers may separately process operational and security logs.
Client accounts and private tracking
Evolve uses ChatGPT sign-in to identify your account. You may request an account with your name and signed-in account email. Requests remain pending until an Evolve admin approves or rejects them. Evolve stores the request time and latest review time and reviewer. You can also activate a client invitation created by an admin. The owner and designated admins can view membership names, emails and access status, and approve, reject, pause or resume client access. Only the owner can assign or remove admin roles. Signup and approval do not currently send email notifications.
Workout logs, food logs, body measurements and journal entries are stored against your own account. Membership administration does not provide access to other users’ private fitness records. Pausing an account blocks access but does not delete its existing records. You can export or delete individual records in your journal while your membership is active.
Food search
When you submit a food search, the food or drink text is sent to Open Food Facts to find matching label data. Your identity, journal, measurements and meal photos are not included. Avoid entering personal information into food search. Product results are cached for up to 24 hours under a hash of the search text; expired cached rows are removed during later searches. Temporary request counters limit traffic. Selecting a food saves the chosen product reference, estimated portion and nutrition to your private journal.
Meal photography
Photo-based nutrition estimates are not currently enabled. Camera preview alone does not upload a photo. Before uploads are enabled, Evolve requires the analysis service and automatic 30-day photo deletion to be configured. When enabled, meal images and optional meal descriptions will be sent to OpenAI to estimate nutrition; estimates must be reviewed and can be corrected. Photos have a separate 30-day retention limit. Nutrition entries can remain after the photo is deleted.
Wearable data — phase 2
Fitbit integration is planned for phase 2 and is not currently connected. If enabled later, it will require separate consent to read activity, sleep and health metrics through Google Health API. The planned import includes daily steps, calories burned, Active Zone Minutes, sleep summaries, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability and recorded activity summaries.
Wearable readings are used for your own journal and trends, not advertising, sale, OpenAI analysis or model training. Use of information received from Google Health API must adhere to the Google Health API Developer and User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Connection tokens are encrypted on the server and excluded from exports. Imported history is retained until you disconnect and delete it; it is separate from photo retention.
Hosting and your choices
Evolve uses OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure to serve the website and store application records. Operational providers process data needed to run the service. To request correction, account deletion or help accessing your information, contact your Evolve coach or use the website enquiry form. We do not list an unverified contact address.
